The GCP-S cooling water chiller offers maximum performance and reliability for industrial applications. With a power range of 30 to 80 kW and application with water or water-glycol mixtures, it guarantees precise and sustainable cooling for demanding processes.
Future-proof and sustainable
The series was specifically developed for the global market and uses the "low GWP" refrigerant R513A. It already meets all future legal requirements:
- EU: GWP limit of 750 from 2027
- USA: GWP limit of 700 from 2026
The low CO2 equivalent emissions (GCP-S 30: 3.3 t to GCP-S 100: 7.5 t) ensure sustainable operation. Furthermore, annual leak testing is no longer necessary.
Global applicability & Maximum Energy Efficiency
The GCP-S is already designed for the common mains voltages of 400V / 50 Hz / 3Ph and 460V / 60 Hz / 3Ph. All models meet the strict energy efficiency standards (EU) 2015/1095 and (EU) 2016/2281, thus achieving significant operating cost savings throughout the entire product life cycle.
Compact and Modular Design
Thanks to its modular platform concept, the GCP-S allows for flexible adaptation to different requirements. It remains extremely space-saving:
- 30 - 40 kW: 1,315 x 895 mm
- 50 - 80 kW: 1,315 x 1,105 mm
Precise temperature control & smart sensors
The cooling performance remains constant under all conditions:
- Temperature stability as standard: ±1K (option: ±0.5K).
- Temperature range: Coolant outlet temperature -5°C to 30°C, ambient temperature -20°C to 55°C.
In addition, an extensive sensor technology is installed that monitors important operating parameters, including supply temperature, supply pressure, and tank level. In the long term, it will enable innovative additional business in the service sector through predictive maintenance.
State-of-the-art control and interfaces
Remote control is via a combination interface with a potential-free contact and 24V control. The Modbus TCP and OPC-UA communication protocols are integrated as standard. The intuitive display offers a plain text display and alarm messages with a time stamp, ensuring efficient operation at all times.
Optional accessories for individual requirements
With the tank filling package (including refrigerant connection, tubing, MV valve + connection cable) and an electronic expansion valve for higher cooling capacity, systems can be optimally adapted.

How does a cooling water chiller work?
A cooling water chiller ensures optimal temperature control in demanding industrial processes. The water is heated to the required process temperature in the device and stored in a tank. A pump transports the cooled medium to the consumer, where it absorbs the resulting heat and is then transported back to the chiller – a reliable circuit for maximum efficiency.
