1981 – Founded with a clear vision
HYFRA is founded by mechanical engineer Wolfgang Baum with the vision of developing highly precise and reliable cooling systems, consistently tailored to individual customer requirements.
1991 – Growth and site expansion
As the company continues to grow, HYFRA relocates from Neuwied to Krunkel - which remains the company’s development and production site to this day.
1997 – Internationalization
HYFRA becomes part of the cooling division of Lennox International as an independent brand.
The integration into an international group strengthens its global market presence and drives further professionalization.
2000s – Technological advancement
HYFRA establishes itself as a provider of high-performance and durable cooling solutions for industrial applications. Innovations such as microchannel technology set new standards in efficiency and design.
2010s – Expansion of Engineering Expertise
